Our guide to making the right choice...

- Make sure you see references from the DJ.

- Always use a DJ who is experienced
- We have 6 years experience from large charity events to children's parties.

- Ensure that if the DJ sub contracts out the work to another DJ, you meet the other DJ.
- We do NOT hire sub contracts. All the work is done by us: Luke@moondjs.co.uk and rob@moondjs.co.uk.

- It is a very good idea to have exclusive rights on the night - you don't want them rushing off early to do another job!
- When you hire us, we are yours for the night. We will be packed away within an hour of finishing.

- A large and varied music section to keep guest dancing.
- A huge database of over 16,000 songs is always brought along. Requests are taken before and during the event.

- Ensure they use up to date sound systems and lighting effects.
- We take pride in our equipment. It is always being upgraded. See what we have here.

- Find out the total cost of hiring the DJ including travel cost and ensure there are no hidden extras. Confirm this in writing.
- A contract will be sent and signed. There are no extra charges!

FAQ

Q: How long have you been DJing?

A: MoonDJ Discos has been running quality discos for 6 years. We have experience from small parties to large outdoor events.

Q: What music selection do you have?

A: Our music database is increasing every week. Currently it stands at over 15,000 tracks. We are there to play the music that you and your guests want to hear. We will provide you with a music request form well in advance of your event, and every effort will be made in order to obtain your tracks and also to play requests from guests on the night.

Q: How early do you arrive?

A: We require at least one hour to set up (and around 40 minutes to pack away).

Q: Do you require a deposit?

A: A: To guarantee your date we ask for a minimum of a £15 deposit (deposit may be more, depending on the quote). This will then be deducted from the final fee.

Q: Are you fully insured?

A: Yes. We have comprehensive Public Liability Insurance coverage.

Q: Do you perform in marquees?

A: Yes. We would just need two 13-amp plug sockets relatively close to where the disco will be situated.

Q: Can you recommend a venue?

A: Possibly! Most of our customers have already booked a venue before contacting us but there are a number of local venues that we would recommend. The quality of our light show is substantially increased when the use of smoke machines is permitted, so we suggest you enquire about this when booking a venue.
